Art
Jennifer Berg
Jen started painting in 2016 shortly after moving to Phoenix Arizona. She was heavily influenced by the style of the southwest that she saw everyday after dreaming of living in Arizona since the age of 10. She learned to paint after buying a string art kit at Target and playing around with spray paint and geometric patterns made of nails and string. She began watching YouTube tutorials of acrylic painting while using craft paints and scrapbook paper, card board or cheap scraps of wood to play around and experiment with different techniques. Still to this day her favorite painitings are the result of experimentation of different mediums and techniques.

Since she was 17 Jen had worked full time as a pharmacy technician at various pharmacies, it wasn't until the spring of 2017 she realized working full time to just get by, paying bills, buying art supplies and hardly having enough money to do anything she enjoyed. In the Fall of 2017 Jen and her boyfriend Nate (a musician) decided to go on tour, they would leave in her tiny Kia Rio and drive around the country playing shows, and trying to sell art. They continued to do this because of the freedon it gave them. If they hated a city, they could just leave, no one was telling them where, when or what they had to be doing at any given time. It also forced them both to commit to their art, knowing they could give up at anytime but that would mean having to work a real job. They are currently building out a cargo van as their new home on wheels and will be back on the road with their Pitbull, Emma, to continue doing what has been making them happy since 2017.

When you buy Jen's art, prints, or jewelry you are not just getting a piece of beautiful home decor or a new fashion accessory, you are getting a small piece of her heart and soul inspired by the amazing places she gets to see and explore everyday.
